My gf had previously visited this clinic and was very satisfied with her visits. She’d come home praising Mindy and her great work! So I decided to book an appointment with their physiotherapist Mindy due to my hip, hamstring and glute issues. Mindy was professional, friendly and provided me with some much needed pain relief. She also gave me great exercise tips to speed up the road to recovery. I’d highly recommend you visit Mindy for any physio needs.

Physiofit is a fantastic clinic, I would definitely recommend it to anyone seeking physiotherapy. Mindy helped me recover from a bad arm injury, she patiently asked me about my injury and provided excellent treatment to speed up my recovery in six weeks. I don’t go to physio clinic often, but Mindy’s professionalism and genuine caring made me look forward to my appointment every time. Mei Ling is a wonderful receptionist, very friendly and helpful, always greets clients with smile and captivating voice. Other staff are friendly too. Overall I had great experience at Physiofit.

Incredible clinic! I came in unable to walk straight from a pulled back, and Akib worked his magic. I left feeling great. Have had many minor injuries that I have come back for since, and the technique and quality of treatment surpasses anywhere I’ve been to before. Thank you Akib and Physiofit!

I have been to a few physiotherapy centers and they were just OK until I came to Physiofit and Akib. Akib is very thorough and actually work on your problems, physically working on the area of concern and not just giving you exercises to do as other therapists do. There are exercises given as home work, or you can do in the gym area of the clinic. I noticed great improvement in my condition by the 3rd visit. The receptionist is very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this clinic for physiotherapy.

I had an amazing experience at PhysioFit. I sincerely felt that Akib and his team were genuinely concerned that I receive the best care and that my condition improves - which it certainly did! Not sure where I would be or how I would be feeling without Akib’s help. Highly recommend Akib and PhysioFit!!

Frequently Asked Questions

Spinal decompression therapy relieves chronic back pain by gently stretching the spine, reducing pressure on spinal discs and nerves. This process enhances blood flow, allowing essential nutrients to reach damaged tissues and promote healing. Over time, it helps restore mobility, reduce stiffness, and provide long-term relief from back discomfort.
Yes, disc therapy is specifically designed to relieve pressure from a herniated disc by creating space between the vertebrae. This negative pressure helps the disc retract, reducing pain and inflammation in the affected area. Over time, it allows the disc to heal naturally, restoring function and mobility.
Unlike spinal surgery, decompression therapy is a non-invasive spine treatment that does not involve incisions, anesthesia, or long recovery times. It provides pain relief and healing without the risks associated with surgical interventions. Additionally, it offers a cost-effective alternative with minimal downtime, enabling you to resume your daily activities more quickly.
By gently stretching the spine, decompression therapy reduces pressure on compressed nerves, allowing them to function correctly. This helps alleviate symptoms such as numbness, tingling, and radiating pain, common in conditions like sciatica and spinal stenosis. Improved nerve function enhances mobility and prevents further spinal damage.
Yes, spinal decompression is highly effective in relieving sciatic nerve pain. It alleviates pressure on the lower spine, allowing herniated or bulging discs to retract and stop irritating the sciatic nerve. After undergoing consistent therapy sessions, many patients experience reduced leg pain, improved mobility, and enhanced overall comfort.
The number of sessions depends on your condition and how well your body responds to treatment. Most patients require 10 to 20 sessions to achieve noticeable improvements in pain, mobility, and spinal alignment. A personalized treatment plan ensures you get the most effective care tailored to your needs.
Many patients notice a difference within the first few sessions, while others experience gradual relief. The goal is to provide long-term healing by improving spinal function rather than offering temporary relief. Each session enhances disc hydration, reduces nerve compression, and restores natural spinal movement.
Yes, disc rehydration therapy can help slow the progression of degenerative disc disease by reducing inflammation and improving spinal fluid circulation. This process relieves stiffness and discomfort, allowing the spine to maintain its flexibility. Over time, it supports overall spinal health and prevents further degeneration.
Yes, non-surgical back pain therapy is safe for most patients, including seniors. It is a gentle and adjustable treatment that can be customized based on age, pain levels, and spinal condition. Many older adults find it beneficial in reducing pain, improving mobility, and preventing further spinal issues.
Yes, spinal decompression can assist postural correction by realigning the spine and reducing tension on overworked muscles. Poor posture often leads to disc compression and nerve pain, which this therapy helps alleviate. With continued treatment, patients experience better posture and reduced strain on their neck and back.
Yes, spinal decompression is often combined with physical therapy, chiropractic care, and rehabilitation exercises for enhanced results. A multi-approach treatment plan can strengthen surrounding muscles and support long-term spine health. Our specialists customize care to ensure optimal recovery and pain relief.
Most patients experience no serious side effects; however, mild soreness may occur as the spine adjusts to the treatment. This is a natural response as spinal alignment and disc function improve over time. Any discomfort typically subsides quickly, and most patients report increased mobility and reduced pain with continued sessions.
