My gf had previously visited this clinic and was very satisfied with her visits. She’d come home praising Mindy and her great work! So I decided to book an appointment with their physiotherapist Mindy due to my hip, hamstring and glute issues. Mindy was professional, friendly and provided me with some much needed pain relief. She also gave me great exercise tips to speed up the road to recovery. I’d highly recommend you visit Mindy for any physio needs.

Physiofit is a fantastic clinic, I would definitely recommend it to anyone seeking physiotherapy. Mindy helped me recover from a bad arm injury, she patiently asked me about my injury and provided excellent treatment to speed up my recovery in six weeks. I don’t go to physio clinic often, but Mindy’s professionalism and genuine caring made me look forward to my appointment every time. Mei Ling is a wonderful receptionist, very friendly and helpful, always greets clients with smile and captivating voice. Other staff are friendly too. Overall I had great experience at Physiofit.

Incredible clinic! I came in unable to walk straight from a pulled back, and Akib worked his magic. I left feeling great. Have had many minor injuries that I have come back for since, and the technique and quality of treatment surpasses anywhere I’ve been to before. Thank you Akib and Physiofit!

I have been to a few physiotherapy centers and they were just OK until I came to Physiofit and Akib. Akib is very thorough and actually work on your problems, physically working on the area of concern and not just giving you exercises to do as other therapists do. There are exercises given as home work, or you can do in the gym area of the clinic. I noticed great improvement in my condition by the 3rd visit. The receptionist is very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this clinic for physiotherapy.

I had an amazing experience at PhysioFit. I sincerely felt that Akib and his team were genuinely concerned that I receive the best care and that my condition improves - which it certainly did! Not sure where I would be or how I would be feeling without Akib’s help. Highly recommend Akib and PhysioFit!!

Frequently Asked Questions

We offer three main types of orthotics: rigid (functional), semi-rigid, and soft (accommodative). Rigid orthotics provide structural support and help with biomechanical issues. Semi-rigid orthotics balance support and cushioning, making them ideal for athletes and active individuals. Soft orthotics provide maximum shock absorption and are recommended for individuals with diabetic foot pain. Our physiotherapists assess your specific needs to determine the best option for you.
Our custom orthotics provide arch support to help stabilize and realign flat feet. They reduce strain on the feet, ankles, knees, and lower back, preventing long-term complications. While orthotics do not permanently alter the foot structure, they enhance comfort and mobility. Our physiotherapists assess your gait and recommend the best solution for your condition. With proper support, you can walk and move more comfortably.
If you experience foot pain, knee discomfort, lower back pain, or balance issues, orthotics might help. Signs that indicate the need for orthotics include frequent foot fatigue, uneven shoe wear, and posture issues. A professional assessment can determine if orthotics will benefit you. Our physiotherapists analyze your gait, foot alignment, and pressure distribution to provide personalized recommendations tailored to your specific needs. Early intervention with orthotics can prevent further complications.
Our orthotics help manage conditions such as plantar fasciitis, flat feet, high arches, and overpronation. They also relieve knee pain, hip discomfort, lower back pain, and diabetic foot complications. Athletes benefit from our orthotics by improving shock absorption and stability. By addressing biomechanical issues, orthotics enhance mobility and prevent further injuries. Each pair is tailored to meet the individual’s specific needs.
Custom orthotics are designed to match your feet’ unique shape and movement. Unlike store-bought insoles, which provide general cushioning, our orthotics offer targeted support and correction. They help redistribute pressure, improve alignment, and alleviate pain caused by biomechanical issues. Store-bought insoles may provide temporary relief but lack the durability and precision of custom options. Investing in custom orthotics ensures long-term benefits for foot health and mobility.
Custom orthotics typically last between one and five years, depending on usage and maintenance. Factors like daily wear, weight, and activity level affect their lifespan. Over time, they may lose structural integrity, requiring adjustments or replacements. Regular check-ups with our physiotherapists ensure they remain effective. Proper care, such as keeping them dry and avoiding excessive heat, extends their longevity.
A prescription is not always necessary, but a professional assessment ensures you receive the proper orthotics. Many insurance providers require a prescription for coverage. Our physiotherapists conduct thorough evaluations to determine the best orthotic solution for you. If needed, we can provide the necessary documentation for insurance claims. A proper assessment helps maximize the benefits of your orthotics.
Yes, orthotics improve foot alignment, which may slightly alter your walking pattern. Initially, you might notice a difference in balance or foot positioning. Over time, they help correct posture, distribute weight evenly, and enhance overall comfort. Any discomfort during the adjustment period is temporary as your body adapts. Our physiotherapists provide guidance on the break-in process for a smooth transition.
We design sports-specific orthotics to enhance stability, reduce impact, and improve performance. These orthotics help prevent injury by supporting proper foot mechanics during high-impact activities. Athletes with flat feet, overpronation, or plantar fasciitis benefit significantly from customized support. Our physiotherapists ensure a perfect fit to maximize comfort and efficiency. Our orthotics optimize movement and reduce pain associated with running, cycling, or other sports.
We begin with a comprehensive assessment, which includes gait analysis, foot measurements, and a posture evaluation. Based on the findings, we create custom-moulded orthotics tailored to your unique foot structure. Once they are ready, a fitting session ensures they provide optimal support and comfort. Adjustments may be made to enhance functionality and address any concerns. Our goal is to deliver orthotics that improve mobility and prevent discomfort.
Most individuals adjust to orthotics within two to four weeks. You may feel slight discomfort as your feet adapt to the new support during this period. Gradual wear-in is recommended, starting with a few hours per day. Our physiotherapists provide guidance on easing into full-time use. Proper adaptation ensures maximum comfort and long-term benefits.
Clean orthotics regularly with a damp cloth and mild soap to maintain their good condition. Avoid exposure to excessive heat, as it may damage their structure. Store them in a dry place when not in use. Check for signs of wear, and visit us for adjustments if necessary. Proper care extends their lifespan and maintains effectiveness.
