Chiropractic is a non-invasive rehabilitation profession that focuses on the neuromusculoskeletal system. Chiropractors practice primarily with a hands-on approach and can diagnose and treat impairments related to the spine, pelvis, nervous system and other joints.
How can Chiropractic help me?
Chiropractors use a hands-on approach to mobilize and manipulate joints to restore function and mobility. This hands-on treatment can help to increase range of motion, decrease pain and relieve pressure off impinged nerve roots.
Will a Chiropractor “crack” my back?
The audible “crack” often associated with chiropractic treatment is simply the release of gas bubbles within the joint during a spinal manipulation. While spinal manipulation is a large component of chiropractic treatment, an audible “crack” is not always necessary for effective treatment.
